Mountain Home is lovely and has some nice thrift shops if you like that sort of thing. Also lots of different places to eat, Pizza Hut, McDonalds, KFC, Taco Bell, SEVERAL nice diners, that was great. Lots of lakes nearby, if you are a nature lover and like to walk on trails in the woods, it's great. When you want the best amenities and the most comfort in your Mountain Home hotel you have plenty of luxury options. A trip to Mountain Home will never be complete without a trip to its museums, including the Baxter County Heritage Museum and Tiny Town Tours miniature Museum of Merritt. The Bull Shoal's-White River State Park, Bull Shoal's Lake Boat Dock, and Norfolk Lake should also offer a unique experience to visitors.
The only sad thing which could not be helped due to the rules of the Covid-19 was that the pool was not open for my son. If you booked through us and want to leave a review, please sign in first. It was the best place to stay for the 4th of July. Staff was very friendly Because of the virus they weren't serving breakfast, but they did put out a few items of food in wrappers and bottled water. Smelled so bad of disinfectant you couldn't breath. People partying in the parking lot and very shady clientele. We couldn't even stay one night in this hole. Hotel is not where GOOGLE directions say it is! We went round and round, finally called hotel who said it's right by Burger King.
